How to get involved: There is no question that parent involvement represents an exceptionally powerful way of making schools more effective, and of dramatically enriching children’s experiences. It is important to realize that parental involvement is the life-blood of St. Agnes School. We welcome you to find the activity that best suits you and then get involved. There are numerous opportunities for parents to be involved at school: Homeroom Mothers/Fathers, Playground Supervisors, Field Trip Drivers, Kitchen Helpers, Read Aloud, Athletic Coaching, and much more. Volunteering is satisfying. Not only do your children love having you at school, it also provides you the opportunity to meet other parents and feel “connected” to your child’s environment. Be a Volunteer. Get Involved! Look for information to come home at the beginning of the school year from the PTO.

Lunch Helper

Volunteers are needed to help serve lunch and clean up the cafeteria after students finish their lunch periods.  This is a great way to spend a bit of time with your child during the school day.  Call the school to sign up!

Volunteers are needed to supervise the playground with a teacher during recess.  This is a great way to get to know your child’s classmates and the children of St. Agnes School.  Please contact the school to sign up!

Read Aloud

Read Aloud is another way parents can get involved in their child’s classroom.  Teachers will pick a day and time for read aloud in the classroom.  A schedule will be made by a parent in that room. Please contact the teacher.
